Whatever it is, FCS wants to help you achieve your dreams. We offer lessons (beginner through advance) for both horse and rider. Don’t have your own horse? No problem! FCS has experienced horses to teach you how to become a better equestrian.
Build it.
It all begins with an idea. Have a horse you want to build a better relationship with? FCS would love to help! We offer customize training programs from starting ground up, to refreshers to keep you and your equine partner successful. Every horse and rider learn differently; therefore, each training program is completely customized to make you both successful partners. To have a strong relationship is to have clear communication. FCS is devoted to working closely with both horse and rider to accomplish their goals.
Lessons
The FCS lesson program is based in the belief that all equestrians, no matter the discipline or level, need to warrant a strong foundation of proper equitation and good balance to be successful. FCS believes that there are principles that excel all riding disciplines, skills, and techniques, which are specific to each. Safe, confident riding is a key aspect to our program.
FCS' lesson program is customized for each student, with an emphasis on safety and proper equitation. Instruction is geared toward helping individual riders meet personal goals according to their abilities.
Rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach, FCS tailors each student’s lesson program to fit their abilities and goals. We gently encourage students to move ahead with skills as they are ready. Lessons are designed to help students work on basics, and include a variety of exercises to keep learning fun and safe.
Our team of instructors are patient and have experience with a wide range of ages including young beginners, returning adults and beginner adults. All students begin with private lessons for optimum safety and coaching.
Training
FCS specializes in starting and training young horses for competition, show, and pleasure; as well as, retraining horses for new disciplines. Every horse has a unique personality and disposition offering no specific method of training that fits every horse. Each horse has a specific learning style that needs a customized program to suite individual qualities, intended discipline, and owners specifications. Through ground work horses learn to be respectful, responsive and willing to work. With this, each horse can translate into a safe and confident riding partner. Horses in training with FCS learn in a calm and relaxed atmosphere. FCS believes in starting horses slowly and allowing them to progress at their own pace.
FCS Equestrian Center is pleased to offer:
*Training with board.......$1,000 month; however, we encourage 60-90 day training to enhance your horses learning experience. Discounts are available for 60 days or more training.
